Richard Kenney is the author of THE EVOLUTION OF THE FLIGHTLESS BIRD (Yale, 1984); ORRERY (Atheneum, 1985); THE INVENTION OF THE ZERO (Knopf, 1993); and THE ONE-STRAND RIVER (Knopf, 2008).
