| The poems in George Drew's first published volume of poetry, Toads in a Poisoned Tank(1986), are informed by his Southern and Northern roots. His next chapbook So Many Bones (Poems of Russia)(1997) grew out of two trips to Russia in the mid-1990s, just a few years after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. His most recent volume, The Horse's Name was Physics(Turning Point Press,2006,an imprint of Word Tech Communications) reflects the author's interest in the intersection of art and science-the Humanities and the Sciences. | Wednesday, December 05, 2007 12:30 p.m. Visual Arts Gallery Dearlove Hall |
