| Dunya Mikhail has published four collections of poetry and one multi-genre book in Arabic. Her first book in English – The War Works Hard (New Directions 2005) – was selected for a 2004 PEN Translation Fund Award and picked by the New York Public Library as one of 25 Books to Remember for 2005.
