| Bruce Guernsey has published three books of poetry. His latest collection of work, The Lost Brigade (Water Press and Media 2004), is “a powerful indictment of the war and how we bear its scars forever,” writes Chris Hedges. Guernsey is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Eastern Illinois University where he taught creative writing and American Literature for twenty-five years.
