The Writers Project has a tri-fold mission: 1) to provide ACC students and the residents of Warren, Washington, and Saratoga Counties with exposure to nationally renowned writers, 2) to provide up-and-coming writers with a venue for reading, and 3) to support fledging writers with workshops and writing retreats.

The Writers Project has been funded in part by grants from the ACC Foundation, Poets and Writers, Inc., and the Faculty Student Association. Initial funding and support for the Writers Project came from the National Endowment for the Arts.
